KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
- Prepare estimates by gathering architectural plans, specifications and related documents for new plans and allot specific starts from the current start schedule.
- Present prepared estimate(s) utilizing PlanSwift Professional Software, AutoCad, Master Project or other software by assembling plan specific trade type Take Offs and master plan Take Offs.
- Prepare special reports utilizing the PlanSwift Professional Software Report Designer and/or Excel templates by Trade Type.
- Maintain the database for base, elevation and option Take Offs/estimates in Master Project or on SharePoint.
- Update Plan Take Offs when ARM’s / PMR’s are released and provide quantity adjustments to divisions.
- Work with trade partners, vendors, architectural services and production department to reconcile discrepancies in Take Offs.
- Create and Update Templates within Planswift for Corporate and Division use. Collaborate with Architecture in controlling costs on prototype design.
- Train Division Estimators and Corporate Junior Estimators. Assist Divisions in Estimating on Trade Types as needed.
- Document process of estimating trade types and update Estimating Manual as needed.
- Assist field operations in material overages / shortages.
- Review variance purchase orders assigned to V12 (Newstar system) for approval.
- Conduct field audits to validate product quantities to reduce variances.
- Prepare Estimating tracking and reporting tools and schedule regular meetings to facilitate managing the estimating workload.
- Prepare Take Off estimates for all trade types for the division purchasing teams to utilize in their negotiation with trade partners.
- Attend Manufacturer and Subcontractor meetings and prepare/distribute meeting notes internally and externally.
- Schedule and attend any additional estimating classes for Planswift and/or additional estimating software (i.e. Pipeline) with Operations Manager – Estimating.
- Schedule and attend training sessions for internal Estimating Department.
- Complete all other duties as assigned by manager.
Eligibility Criteria:
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong English communication skills (read, write, listen and speak).
- Competency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of PlanSwift, BlueBeam REVU RFMS Measure etc. is essential.
- Ability to read blueprints / drawings received from customers.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to interpret specification sheets from architects and designers.
- Natural details orientation.
- Solid understanding of importance of accuracy and precision in work.
- Ability to meet deadline consistently.Candidates must have a reliable power backup.
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES
- High School Diploma required / Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience in reading blueprint is highly recommend.
- Must have minimum 2 – 5 year’s experience in Construction / Stone industry.

- This is a full-time, permanent, and remote position.
- Candidates must have a reliable power backup.
- Must possess a well-maintained Laptop and additional Desktop screen
- Fiber line internet connection with 80-100 MBPS net speed.
- Head gears with noise cancellation function and a mike
